The beak attachment works with all style and sized drums with a lipped rim, as long as the top of the drum (rim) is at least 24” above the floor. To operate unit, first put your forklift forks into the designated fork pockets. Next, screw down the conveniently located built-in T-bolts to secure your unit to the forklift. Gently maneuver beak against the outside of the drum and raise until the beak automatically engages with the rim. From here you can safely and securely transport your drum throughout your facility. To release, simply lower the drum to release pressure on the beak and the unit will automatically disengage. The beak attachment is completely hands free and does not require the operator to ever leave the cab of the forklift.

The strap attachment is similar but has the added capability of working with any cylinders (as well as drums) from 14-24” in diameter. By utilizing the dual ratchet strap system, operators can apply the exact tension required, reducing possible damage. Straps conform to drums giving maximum contact points and security for your drums.

The deluxe attachment is a best seller and has an adjustable guide that makes it compatible with drums and cylinders of all sizes, ranging from 18-28” in diameter. The rubber-lined jaws provide added security and protection for your drum, and has a 1,500 lb. load capacity. Utilizing a 3” spring-and-cam actuated jaw, this forklift attachment was designed with simplicity and productivity in mind.

The industrial unit is similar but becomes more economical through a couple features. Drum capability is limited to 30 or 55 gallon drums, and the jaws are steel (not rubber-lined), making the unit still extremely versatile but not as user friendly as the deluxe.

The economy is designed utilizing a simplified knuckle gripping natural pressure system, works with 55 gallon drums, and has an 800 lb. capacity. This unit is ideal for users with intermittent drum handling but need something to do the job when the time comes.

Units have hydraulic actuated jaws and an adjustable pressure gauge to help ensure the appropriate amount of pressure is applied to secure your drum without damaging it. Variable speed control improves safety and ease of operation.

Various styles and functions are available to fit your application. The Maxi Grip features a secure clamp that is ideal for transporting and storing drums. The Versa Grip features a clamp and forward tilt, providing the added functionality of tilting drums forward up to 120° to assist in dumping or storage needs. The Hydra Grip features a clamp and rotate, allowing units to rotate 360° continuously to assist with dumping requirements. Lastly, the Ultra Grip features the ability to clamp, tilt, and rotate – ideal for the person who prefers all functionality.

Units can also be purchased in a self-powered or forklift powered option. Self-powered units come with (2) 12V rechargeable batteries, a battery gauge, and a built-in charger (compatible with any standard outlet and extension cord). Self-powered units work for all environments and do not require a forklift powered connection. Forklift powered units come with auxiliary lines and quick-connect couplers to easily connect to your forklift (requires available forklift auxiliary circuit). Forklift powered units operate using convenient forklift controls and can run continuously without the need to recharge.
